Rachelle Ann Go has learned a lot from being alone

By MARY LOUISE LIGUNAS

A lot has changed since Rachelle Ann Go first left for London

Today, the Kapuso performer is already an award-winning stage actress, the theme song vocalist of a Cinderella remake and a proud domesticated woman.

During her guesting in The Ryzza Mae Show today, she remembered how she previously shared with the child host that she cannot cook at all, and how that doesn’t hold true anymore.

“'Di ba kinu-kuwento ko dati na ‘di ako marunong? Ngayon, marunong na ko magluto. ‘Di na siya karegang (kare kare at sinigang). Hindi na masabaw 'yung kare kare ko,” she joyously said.

Living alone in London has urged her to learn doing things for herself, including cooking her own meals.

“Wala akong kasama dun sa London. Ako lang mag-isa, tapos ang mahal ng pagkain so natuto akong magluto mag-isa,” she added.

Rachelle is having the time of her life playing Gigi in Miss Saigon but admits to be missing a lot about the Philippines. Learning how to prepare Filipino cuisine appeases her homesickness.

“I’m very proud of myself. Marunong na kong magluto ng kare kare, sinigang, adobo (at) gising gising,” she told Ryzza.
