Aside from breaking its own Twitter record, #ALDubEBTamangPanahon surpassed the 35.6 million tweet record of the 2014 FIFA World Cup semi-final match between Germany and Brazil, setting a new world record for most number of tweets in 24 hours.

The phenomenal loveteam AlDub, composed of Kapuso leading man Alden Richards and Dubsmash queen Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub, was finally granted their "tamang panahon" by the strict yet affectionate Lola Nidora, played by Wally Bayola. The special event was held in the Philippine Arena, the largest indoor arena in the world, and was aired with no commercial breaks for three hours.
