Bianca Umali on her co-stars: 'I'm hoping to work with them again'

We’ve seen her acting prowess in Agustin dela Cruz’s Mga Basang Sisiw. We’ve also seen her hosting skills in GMA’s kiddie show, Tropang Potchi. The young Kapuso actress Bianca Umali has truly a lot more to offer.

Last October 22, 2013 at the live chat of Mga Basang Sisiw, GMANetwork.com sat down with the Kapuso actress for this exclusive interview.

We asked the Kapuso actress how she feels about the show's finale this week.

“Medyo nakaka-sad pero happy kasi successful iyong show,” she says.

She also shared that she will miss the production team the most. She recalled working with them from morning until dawn.

“’Kami ang sama-sama tuwing magtataping, morning until the next morning.”

With regards to her co-stars, she looks forward to working with them in the near future.

“I’m hoping to work with them again, kasi kilalang-kilala na namin ang isa’t isa, ‘pag nagkawork kami madali na lang hindi na mahirap. Family na talaga kami.”

And to prove how well she know her co-stars, we asked Bianca to describe her co-stars.

Maxene Magalona: Lovable
Mike Tan: Makulit
Renz Valerio: Behave
Hershey Garcia: Smart
Kimberly Faye: Masayahin
Miko Zarsadias: English boy
Lani Mercado: Good mother sa aming lahat
Raymond Bagatsing: Serious sa work
Ricky Davao: hands-on director

As for herself, “matakaw,” was her reply.

Did she feel any pressure acting alongside the veteran actors of Mga Basang Sisiw?

“Minsan, lalo na kung ang mga ka-eksena ko is sina Tita Lani [Mercado] , Tito Raymond [Bagatsing], Ate Maxene [Magalona] kasi sila talaga ‘yung kuhang kuha nila ‘yung karakter.”

She adds, “Inaaral ko pa ‘yung karakter ko. Sila mas professional, kasi ang gagaling nila. Nakakapressure na kailangan mo minsan pantayan ‘yung level nila pero okay naman.”

She gives credit to the show on her growth as an actress. According to her, she learned a lot of things from the show which she can surely apply on her next projects.

“Kasi ‘yung scenes namin mabibigat at kailangan maramdaman mo ‘yung emotions. Pinatira kami sa kalye, pinatulog kami dun, pinahiga kami kung saan-saan, nakapunta kami sa maraming lugar kaya sobrang dami ko experiences na because of Mga Basang Sisiw.”
