Kapuso actor Ken Chan was finally able to portray one of his dream roles on Abot Kamay na Pangarap! He plays the role of Dr. Lyndon Javier, a neurosurgeon at the Eastridge Medical Hospital where Doc Analyn (Jillian Ward) transferred to after leaving APEX.

In his interview with Cata Tibayan on 'Chika Minute' for 24 Oras, Ken admits that the role is hard and challenging, but it's all “worth it.”

“It's hard pero at the end of the day, worth it siya kasi kapag napanood mo sa TV, feeling mo talaga, you're a professional doctor,” he said.

He added, “'Tsaka kapag lumalabas ako, ang tawag sa akin ng mga tao 'doc'.”

Ken's character in the series was revealed early in May. Kapuso actors Michael Sager, Prince Clemente, and Sam Pinto will also be joining the cast of the hit afternoon medical series.

His cast mate and series star Jillian Ward, meanwhile, expressed how Ken has a special place in her heart.

“Sobrang saya ko kasi si Kuya Ken, naka work ko na siya dati, since baby po ako so iba po 'yung love ko kay Kuya Ken,” she said.

Aside from the series, Ken is set to travel to Thailand and Taiwan to shoot two films.

Aside from acting, he's also currently busy as an entrepreneur and is involved with the return of South Korean star and lead of the hit series 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' Park Eun Bin. The Korean actress will be in the country for a fan meeting and other activities that would show the beauty of the country.

“Kung may pagkakataon at meron pang time si Park Eun Bin, gusto sana namin siya dalhin sa iba't ibang mga lugar dito sa Pilipinas, sa mga isla natin dito sa Pilipinas,” he said.

He continued, “Sa Balesin, sa Boracay, 'yun sana ang gusto kong ipakita sa kanya, 'yung ganda ng Pilipinas, 'yung sarap ng pagkain natin, and 'yung mga tao.”
