Ruru Madrid explains the reason behind his and his siblings's nicknames

Black Rider star Ruru Madrid shared the meaning behind his and his siblings's unique nicknames in an interview with ATM (Adventure. Taste. Moments).

In the video, the Sparkle actor explained the amusing reason why their parents named them Ruru, Rere, and Rara.

"Sinabi nga ng magulang ko sa'kin na para daw 'pag kakain, mas madali daw tawagin. Salamat naman po sa magulang ko," Ruru said.

One of Ruru's sisters, Athena or Rere, is also a Sparkle artist like him.

Meanwhile, when asked who he considers his superhero, aside from his parents, Ruru answered Kobe Bryant.

"Si Kobe Bryant dahil 'yung mentality niya, na-a-apply ko lagi sa trabaho... Kung papaano 'yung passion niya don sa craft niya. So parang yun yung naging basehan ko every time may ginagawa akong proyekto," Ruru explained.
