Gloria Romero reveals working relationship with the cast of 'Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas'

When asked to list the country’s top veteran actors, surely one cannot miss the name of renowned Kapuso actress Gloria Romero. Her very long period of acting stints has obtained for her the admiration of viewers as well as acting and lifetime achievement awards by Gawad Urian Awards, Golden Screen Awards, and the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS) Awards, just to name a few.

GMANetwork.com had a chance to visit the taping of Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas and Gloria Romero revealed how it is working with other Kapuso cast members and their multi-awarded director, Laurice Guillen.

Direk Laurice Guillen
“13 years ago nung huli ko siyang nakasama sa Tanging Yaman. And I was excited nung sinabi sa'kin na she's going to be our director. I love working with her. Parang reunion naming dalawa ang muling pagsasama namin sa Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas.”

Liza Lorena
“Ay maganda! Ang eksena namin parati puro parinigan. Up to this day nagagalit pa'ko sa kaniya! Natatawa kaming dalawa. Parang kaming mga teenager na nagpapatutsada sa isa't isa.”

Cesar Montano 
“Ay naku, wonderful! Lagi kaming nagkukuwentuhan. We talk about life, we talk about kung paano ako na-discover and ini-interview ko rin siya. Hindi kami nauubusan ng topic. And we love our roles here.”

Lovi Poe
“Very quiet. Nagkakahiyaan pa kami kasi wala pa akong eksena with her. Siguro kapag magka-eksena na kami, you know, we'll get to know each other better. Maganda siya, mabait din, magaling na artista, and she's very professional.”

Solenn Heussaff
“Ay first time ko siyang makasama. We were asking her kung kumusta yung byahe niya sa India. She made an indie film dun eh. Kauuwi lang niya. She's a beautiful lady, mabait, maganda ang ugali.

Rocco Nacino and Charee Pineda
“Alam mo nagulat ako first time ko lang makita si Charee at si Rocco Nacino. They're all new comers para sa'kin. First time ko silang makilala although napapanood ko na sila. And they're amazing! They're very good actors Bow ako, saludo ako.”
