For the first time in their careers, Kapuso stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Rayver Cruz team up in GMA Prime's upcoming series Asawa Ng Asawa Ko.

According to Jasmine, she had fun with Rayver while they were shooting the program. The two played husband-and-wife Jordan and Cristy.

"It's been really fun na makasama si Rayver, as castmate [and] as a leading man. Lalo na kapag may mabibigat na eksena, and pagkatapos ng mga eksenang 'yun, napakadaling mag-bounce back or, at least, ma-relieve 'yung sarili mo na hindi mo madala 'yung emosyon," she said during the press conference of the show at Harolds Evotel in Quezon City.

"As a person, for most of you kilala niyo na rin siya, he's very light, bubbly, and happy going person. So, it's nice to feel that meron kang ganung kasama, and may suportang ganun from your leading man."

Aside from Jasmine, it would also be the first time that Rayver had a chance to work with their internationally-acclaimed director Laurice Guillen, who he credited for his acting in Asawa Ng Asawa Ko.

"Kaya ako nagpapasalamat kay Direk Laurice kasi 'yung patience niya sakin, nakagabay siya sa akin. In a way kasi 'pag si Direk Laurice 'yung nagsasalita sa akin, nao-open up ako agad," he said.

"Kapag naiisip ko lang 'yung pag-uusap namin, nada-dive in ako kaagad doon sa eksena. Gusto kong magpasalamat kay Direk Laurice kasi first time namin magka-work ni Direk Laurice."

Joining Jasmine and Rayver in Asawa Ng Asawa Ko are Liezel Lopez, Martin Del Rosario, and Joem Bascon. Also starring in the series are Kim De Leon, Luis Hontiveros, Patricia Coma, Bruce Roeland, Crystal Paras, Jeniffer Maravilla, and Ms. Gina Alajar with Billie Hakenson, Quinn Carillo, and Mariz Ricketts.
