'Battle of the Judges' begins its championship round this Saturday

Ultimate talent competition Battle of the Judges kicks off its two-part championship round this Saturday, September 23.

The final level, aptly called 'The Ultimate Battle,' features seven grand finalists who will compete in the battle stage to earn the ultimate grand champion title and win one million pesos.

They are: The Masked Violinist Shammah and The Soprano Diva Kathy Hipolito Mas from Boy Abunda's squad; The Global Dance Ambassadors Power Impact Dancers from Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes's squad; The Awesome Aerialist Marvin Peralta and The Laser Man JB Dela Cruz from Jose Manalo's squad; and, The Supreme Sand Artist Joseph Valerio and The Incredible Acrobatic Dancers Amazing Duo from Bea Alonzo's squad.

After a finalist performs, the judge and the audience will give their battle stars to rate his/her performance, but the judge (mentor) of the performer cannot give him/her a battle star.
A finalist may get up to 100 battle stars from the voting body, which is composed of the three voting judges and the studio audience.

Each judge and each audience member can give up to 25 battle stars per performer.

The total battle stars given by the audience will then be averaged out of 25.
