Mylene Dizon rates Kyline Alcantara and Bianca Umali's performance in 'Kambal, Karibal'

Seasoned actress Mylene Dizon has nothing but praises for her Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit co-star Kyline Alcantara's portrayal in the 2017-2018 drama series Kambal, Karibal.

Kyline bannered the Don Michael Perez-helmed series alongside Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix.

“I would give my daughters [Kyline and Bianca] a good, positive eight,” Mylene said in the video.

In Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit, Kyline plays Maggie Dela Cruz, the daughter of Mylene's character Nolie Dela Cruz.

Bianca, on the other hand, was Mylene's daughter in the 2019 drama series Sahaya.

“She [Kyline] was very much aware with the camera placement. She was very much aware also on how to handle her co-actor na hindi nasasapawan 'yung co-actor niya which is not easy at all,” Mylene added.

“It's hard kasi na hawakan mo siya, at the same time, nakikita pa rin 'yung mga mukha ninyo.”

Seasoned actor and another Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit star Zoren Legaspi gave Kyline a perfect 10 rating.

“Makikita mo, as a young actress, marami na siyang pinaghuhugutan and she has a great potential,” Zoren explained.

Actress Ina Feleo also gave Kyline a perfect 10 rating, comparing her to “legendary actresses.”

“Alam mo si Kyline, ngayon ko lang siya makaka-work, pero napansin ko sa kanya, mayroon siyang quality nung mga legend na artista na natin, kumbaga 'yung older generation,” Ina admitted.

“'Pag pumasok sila sa eksena, mayroon siyang energy tsaka mayroong focus sa eksena, na that is quite rare sa mga 'baguhan.'

“So siya, para siyang pumasok na hindi siya bago. Parang, when she entered, makikita mo na even if its not her line, even if its not her shot, mayroon siyang killer instinct.

“Gusto ko siya actually.”

The cast of Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit also rated Nora Aunor's performance with veteran actress Cherie Gil in the series Onanay (2018-2019).

Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit will air its pre-taped episodes until Monday, March 23. It will be replaced by Ika-6 na Utos in its timeslot.

GMA Network will also re-air Kambal, Karibal starting tomorrow, March 19, in lieu of Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday.
