Michael V.'s 'Raining in Manila' parody, a 'tsunami' according to foreign YouTubers

By Aedrianne Acar

After reacting and reviewing the hit "Oh Wow" parody before, Canadian content creator Ovela of Music Game News is back to analyze the brand-new parody of award-winning comedian Michael V.

This time, the foreign YouTuber reacted to “Waiting Here Sa Pila," a parody of “Raining in Manila” of the fast-rising OPM band Lola Amour.

According to Ovela, the song (both the original and parody) reminds him of the stuff Bruno Mars does.

He stated, “Also, the numerous amount of hits in the original song, even in this, let's call this parody remix right.

“Remind me of what Bruno Mars does.”

What's more he absolutely “love” the choreography and he was even impressed with Direk Bitoy's energy throughout the music video.

“This guy, honestly, I feel like he's a tsunami. On his own, he can do a lot of damage.”, he said, “The other people, the characters in this music video were kind of just there, idle. Just, staring at him you know and shocked by his behavior.

“But, I never got once bored, because of Michael [V.] you know and his energy. Like he brings so much energy to the song and the music video you cannot be bored.”
