'Salarin, Salarin' parody song gets big thumbs-up from fans, netizens on social media

Fresh off his big win in the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024 last Thursday, multi-awarded comedian and content creator Michael V. delivered another hilarious parody song based on the hit song “Salamin, Salamin” of P-pop girl group BINI!
Debuting on Bubble Gang on September 29, “Salarin, Salarin” was performed by the Ka-Bubble girl group BINI-b10 composed of Direk Michael, Kokoy De Santos, Matt Lozano, Buboy Villar, and Betong Sumaya.
The music video definitely channeled the candy pop theme of BINI's MV of “Salamin, Salamin”, but Bitoy added his own unique twist.
In fact, the lyrics of the parody song have a deeper message. Some would say that the song may touch on the much talked-about issues in showbiz and in society.
Part of the lyrics stated, “ `Wag po 'Ko! `Wag Kuya! Ayaw Kong Madamay
“Sobra pa 'kong bata. `Wag naman sana akong mapag-trip-an
“Sino ba ang salarin sa krimen na malagim? 'Pag nagtago ha-hunting-in.”
