Bubble Gang, the flagship gag show of GMA Network, is widely recognized as the golden standard of hilarious and viral comedy content on Philippine TV.

It has etched its place in the local entertainment industry as one of the most-awarded shows of the Kapuso Network since it aired in 1995.

In tme for its relaunch tonight, May 27, the whole Bubble Gang has been working hard to give their loyal viewers an amazing show.

Here are some reasons viewers should keep watching Bubble Gang as they begin another brilliant chapter while continuing their mission to provide quality laughs:

1. More fun with Michael V.

Of course, one of the top reasons avid viewers watch Bubble Gang is because award-winning comedian Michael V. is the leader who make sure that all the components of the longest-running gag show are in tip-top condition.

With him manning the ship, together with Bubble Gang's incredible creative team and talented cast members, viewers can expect laugh-out-loud sketches and segments week after week.

2. New Bubble Gang members

With Direk Michael leading the show, other Bubble Gang mainstays like Paolo Contis, Sef Cadayona, Betong Sumaya, Chariz Solomon, Valeen Montenegro, Archie Alemania, Analyn Baro, Faye Lorenzo and Kokoy de Santos are always ready to bring unlimited laughs and exceptional entertainment every Friday night.

Moreover, four new Bubble Gang member will be introduced to bring more excitement in the show.

Seasoned comedienne and host Tuesday Vargas was chosen to join the group together with StarStruck Ultimate Male Survivor Kim de Leon, Sparkle beauty Faith da Silva, and Korean social media star Dasuri Choi.

3. Popular social media stars join the fun

It was confirmed during the grand media conference of Bubble Gang that popular social media personalities are also joining the program in its upcoming episodes.

Bubble Gang viewers have already seen the talents of Common Sense Teacher played by Lottie Bie in the show. But tonight, TikTok star Justine Luzares will be flexing his comedic timing.

Senior Program Manager Cecille de Guzman told GMANetwork.com that they were impressed with Justine's performance during their shoot.

“Noong na-tape namin 'yun lahat kami na-amaze na ang bilis, wala siyang kakaba-kaba,”

She added. “Unlike other content creators na nanliliit 'pag nagjo-join sa Bubble Gang, pero siya naging komportable.”

4. New Bubble Gang director

Another exciting thing that will happen to the beloved Kapuso gag show is the introduction of its new director, Frasco Mortiz, who will bring a new perspective on Bubble Gang.

For those who didn't know, Frasco is the son of Happy ToGetHer director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz. He previously directed a popular kiddie gag show.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Direk Frasco lauded the crew of Bubble Gang for making his job hassle-free.

He said, “Hindi ako nahirapan actually at all, 'yung transitioning, kasi pareho 'yung end goal namin is magpasaya ng tao and 'yung taste namin sa comedy hindi naman nalalayo. So for me, napakadali naman. At saka natutuwa ako, kasi very helpful lahat, winelcome nila kaagad ko.

“Kumbaga hindi ako nahirapan sa kanila, kasi ang dadali nila katrabaho and every taping day masaya 'yung experience sa set.”

5. Bubble Gang hears its viewers

What sets Bubble Gang apart from other comedy programs is that they carefully listen, observe, and analyze what's happening in the outside world.

As they stressed in previous interviews before, their audience is a good source of material to mine for amazing concepts for the gag show.

In an interview with GMA News Online, Paolo Contis pointed out that they will be showcasing socially relevant sketches in their future episodes.

“I believe mas magiging aggressive ang Bubble Gang sa mga socially relevant na mga sketch ngayon. Kasi nga feeling ko nga kailangan, sa seryoso ng mga tao ngayon, ang seryoso ng buhay ngayon. Kailangan medyo matawa tayo ng konti."
