Based on the popular and exciting entertainment program in the United Kingdom, 'Catch Me Out Philippines' gives two ordinary people the chance to convince the audience that they are professionals every week.
Each contestant has at least a month to prepare, train, and be equipped with the skills he or she needs for his or her performance under the watchful eye of a master. At the end of the week, the novices will perform alongside the professionals in front of a pool of celebrity catchers.
By the end of the performance, the impostor who manages to conceal his or her identity goes home with the prize.
Join Jose Manalo in his first hosting gig, together with comedienne-singer Kakai Bautista and Kapuso hunk Derrick Monasterio, who will be part of the celebrity spectators to judge who among the performers is the novice.
Take a peek at what's in store for you in this newest exciting game-reality-talent show program, 'Catch Me Out Philippines,' starting on February 6 only on GMA-7!
After his successful gig in 'StarStruck,' Jose Manalo will be wearing the host's hat for the first time in 'Catch Me Out Philippines.'
In an interview for '24 Oras,' Jose said he's excited to see the performances because it will be unlike anything viewers have seen before. He told Lhar Santiago, “Everything na you can think of na pwedeng gawin ng isang tao like 'yung kunyari magiging clown, pagkanta, pagsayaw, or anything pwedeng talent na maisip mo or 'yung mga ginagawa ng entertainers pwedeng gawin dito sa 'Catch Me Out Philippines.'”
Joining Jose is singer-comedienne Kakai Bautista, who would appear as one of the regular celebrity spectators assigned to pick out who is the novice among the performers.
According to Kakai, 'Catch Me Out Philippines' will be a refreshing and exciting series, so viewers can definitely expect something new from the network.
To complete the fun trio is Kapuso hunk Derrick Monasterio.
Like Kakai, Derrick will take on the role of a celebrity spectator in the game-reality-talent show program.
At the drop of a hat, Jose, Kakai, and Derrick bring a lot of energy to the show.
As this will be Jose's first hosting gig in the Kapuso network, expect a lot of fun moments in the show that will be brought by the comedian.
When the tapes are not rolling, Kakai and Derrick poke fun at each other to bring life to the set.
