Kapuso Tween Stars Bea Binene and Jake Vargas reunite via GMA's newest morning drama CIELO DE ANGELINA

Starting October 22, GMA Films launches its very first family drama series in the network's morning block entitled, Cielo de Angelina. The show stars one of GMA's young and hottest love teams, Bea Binene as Angelina and Jake Vargas as Marco.

 

Besides starting in the Sunday youth-oriented show, Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts and the film Tween Academy: Class of 2012, their teen romance has also successfully been seen in Alice Bungisngis and Her Wonder Walis and even on the big screen in My Kontrabida Girl.

 

Completing the cast are Jillian Ward as young Angelina, Elijah Alejo as young Julie, Yassie Pressman as Rhoda, Jessa Zaragoza as Teresa, Mico Palanca as Benjamin, Isabel Granada as Czarina, Victor Basa as Dr. Frank and Ms. Gloria Romero as Sister Margaret.

 

The story centers on Angelina (Bea), an orphan girl who was left by the door of El Cielo Shelter for Destitute Women and Abandoned Children one stormy night. Marco (Jake), a 4-year old stowaway was there when Sister Margaret (Gloria) picked the baby. Because of being abandoned, Marco and Angelina treated the shelter as their home. 

 

Through the years, Marcos serves as the 'kuya' of Angelina especially when her best friend, Julie was adopted. Since then, it was Marco who helped Angelina on her longing for Julie. It was also Marco who will help Angelina in trying to find out what was left by her parents when she was abandoned.

 

With Marco's reluctant help, Angelina tries to get the clue inside Sister Margaret's office but a fire breaks out in another part of the shelter causing Sister Margaret to die.

 

Separation ensued when Angelina was adopted and in turn leaving Marco in the shelter. While Angelina is living a tormented life with her stepmother Czarina (Isabel) and stepsister Rhoda (Yassi), Marco now acts very distant from her.

 

Years pass, the need for Angelina to be protected became Marco's unspeakable love for her. Will Marco be able to express her love to Angelina? Will Angelina finally find out who her real parents are?

 

Focusing on the theme of love, friendship, and family, Cielo de Angelina will start to touch and tickle your hearts beginning October 22, Monday to Friday before Eat Bulaga on GMA7.
