On the third week of Code Name: Yong Pal, Dr. Kim and Christine Han have officially made an allegiance and are carefully curating their plan of escape. A lot of other prominent figures are offering to help them, but who will they trust?
As the successful Korean medical drama continues, Dr. Kim aka Yong Pal is approached by President Go who offers Dr. Kim a win-win situation. He tells Dr. Kim that he wants Christine's half-brother Darren out of the company but in order to do that, he needs Christine's help. If they trust him, President Go will save Dr. Kim's sister Shirley and have her receive proper treatment free of charge. But will he stay true to his word?
Aside from President Go, Darren's wife Cara is also offering an escape plan for Christine and Dr. Kim. During her visit to the hospital, she fakes a physical therapy session with Dr. Kim and reveals that President Go is forcing Darren to have Christine killed. Cara explains that out of all the three people (her, President Go, and Darren) she is the only one who wants Christine alive.
As they execute the plan, Darren and Chief Lee's mission to kill Christine commences and Dr. Kim realizes that the Christine they are transporting out of the hospital is a dummy. He gets shot but as soon as Darren lets him go, Dr. Kim immediately runs to Christine who is currently dying in the operating room.
Even though Dr. Kim was bleeding to death, he didn't budge and tried his best to save Christine. While in the operating room, he performs surgery but Christine still remains dead. Almost losing hope, Dr. Kim performs CPR on Christine and tries to revive her. As he saves her in tears, he remembers moments with his dead mother whom he was not able to save. He then collapses due to the gunshot but was able to revive Christine.
In other news, Darren and President Go discuss how they'll split Christine's properties and money now that they think she is dead. Darren finds himself cornered by President Go who is a major stockholder in their company and decides to team up with him as he will need his help. Meanwhile, Christine remains in the hospital but is taking on a different identity to stay hidden. She wakes up but finds out that Dr. Kim is still in critical condition.
