Arjo Atayde's first appearance in the high-rating Kapuso sitcom Daddy's Gurl starring Bossing Vic Sotto and Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza made a huge noise yesterday night, March 6.

The news of Maine's boyfriend playing the role of milk tea shop owner Julio quickly made headlines and last night, the episode proved to be a successful one with the #DADDYSGURLBdayNiStacy became one of the top trending topics on Twitter Philippines.

Many fans of the show took notice of the undeniable chemistry between Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde.

A netizen with Twitter handle @mailer_deimon posted this, “THIS EPISODE IS SO GOOD. THAT'S WHY IT'S A TOP-RATING SHOW #DADDYSGURLBdayNiStacy.”

Before the start of the episode, Arjo took to social media to express his appreciation to the whole Daddy's Gurl team and GMA-7.
