The breakout love team of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco continue to flex their undeniable on-screen chemistry via their multi-episode project with Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.

Last March 12, their much-awaited comeback happened and their new story "Lady & Luke" scored phenomenal TV ratings on Sunday Grande sa gabi.

Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko registered a 6.8 percent on NUTAM People Ratings, which is way higher than their rival program.

In addition, the episode also trended on Twitter Philippines as well with netizens sharing their excitement to see FiLay portray different roles this time around.

In their previous interview, former Maria Clara at Ibarra stars admitted to the entertainment press that they had to do some adjustments to their characters in the award-winning children's fantasy show.

Barbie said, “Opo, medyo nag-adjust din po ako, because parehas po kasing modern si Klay at si Lady. Siguro ang iniba ko na lang po ay 'yung level of maturity and 'yung depth of acting.

“And then at the same time, 'yung pagiging wholesome pa rin nung character, kasi siyempre 'yung Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko is an award-winning children's show. So, kailangan wholesome pa rin.”

For his part David shared, “'Yung Tagalog very deep, may Spanish, may punto. Kumbaga si Fidel, 'pag tumingin medyo mabagal and all that. Medyo mas nasa chill side. It's different now, cause mas active si Luke compared to Fidel.

“Nung umpisa nahirapan ako and the assistant director told me na, 'Uy David, parang si Fidel pa rin 'yung umaarte.'"
