This initiative "intends to drive hope, positivity, happiness, and inspiration during this time of [enhanced community quarantine] in the country," according to the the newly-created accounts' profile.

The Kapuso series' official Facebook page and Instagram account with ID, @dotsphofficial, post "good vibes" content like Alpha Team's TikTok videos, memes, games, and workout sessions, giving fans and viewers glimpses of the stars' personalities and interests behind the camera.

According to Rocco Nacino, who plays TSg Diego Ramos, it also aims to stay connected with Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation)'s growing fanbase while the entire production is on taping break due to the enhanced community quarantine brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 33-year-old actor wrote on Instagram, "Dahil mahal namin kayo, mga Kapuso, at alam namin nami-miss ninyo ang #DotsPh, 'eto ang handog ng cast ng Descendants of the Sun: The Philippine Adaptation.

"Play with us, sing with us, laugh with us, learn from us!

"Hatid namin ay kasiyahan lamang para ganado kayo habang nasa bahay!"

He then joked, "Coboy coboy lang tayo, sayawan habang nakasando at shorts, o kaya ang alpha team [ay] sasayaw ng naka-topless! 'Di ba @lucas_aljhon @princeclemente18?"
