Lucas's life is in danger in 'Descendants of the Sun PH'

On the November 12 episode of Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation), Lt. Col. Defensor (Ricardo Cepeda) requested for an excavator to rescue Lucas (Dingdong Dantes) and Biboy.

Lt. Col. Defensor ordered Die0go (Rocco Nacino) and the other alpha team members to rescue the two. Maxine insisted on joining the rescue even if Diego was against it. She pointed out that she may not have military training but she was trained to save lives.

When Manager Ed (Ronnie Henares) saw the excavator, he hatched a new plan to retrieve the diamonds from his office.

When Maxine and Diego reached the cave where Lucas and Biboy are trapped, the doctor handed Lucas Biboy's medication to manage the boy's seizure.

Manager Ed and Greg (Ian Ignacio) met at the rescue area. The businessman drove the excavator to clear his office, not a bit concerned if it would cause trouble to Lucas and Biboy who are in danger. Manager Ed then escaped. The alpha team found out about it but their priority was to save Biboy.

Diego successfully freed Biboy out of the cave but when he was about to rescue Lucas, the ground shook again as a result of Manager Ed's excavation activity. Rocks and dirt collapsed, covering the cave opening and Lucas as well. Making things worse, a jagged metal pierced into Lucas's abdomen, making him bleed profusely.
