Former Eat Bulaga dabarkad Julia Clarete returned to the longest running noontime show as a guest for the segment “Bawal Judgmental” on its 41st anniversary, last July 30.

During the segment, the COVID-19 rontliners talked about their recovery journey and how they went back to work after they got better.

In an interview with Unang Hirit earlier today, August 10, Julia shared her experience on her celebrated return on the show.

“It's been a while kasi when I came back to the Philippines, siguro mga almost two years ago, one of the first places I went to was Eat Bulaga.

"Dumalaw talaga ako sa Dabarkads. Hindi ako 'yung on-air. 'Yung du'n lang talaga. Tambay lang,” she said.

The former TV host likewise related that she missed her fellow hosts and friends dearly.

Parang last week lang magkakasama kami,” she added.

Julia further shared that what she misses the most about being on Eat Bulaga is her opportunity to touch and change the lives of thousands of its viewers.

“'Tapos, siyempre, 'yung being able to change lives on a daily basis, being able to touch people and change perceptions.

“Marami silang nababagong buhay in a very very good way.

"Nami-miss ko 'yon. Being able to do a lot of public service while having fun,” she added.

Julia left Eat Bulaga in 2016 to focus on her personal life.

In 2017, she married her partner Gareth McGeown in Ireland.
