Sa panahon ngayon na lahat ay ipino-post sa social media, kabilang na ang relationship status ng ilang piling mga tao, mas pinipili nina Kapuso couple Gil Cuerva at Lexi Gonzales na 'wag masyadong magbahagi ng kanilang personal na buhay online.

Bilang mga public figures, tinanong ni King of Talk Boy Abunda sa February 11 episode ng Fast Talk with Boy Abunda kung gaano ka-public sina Lexi at Gil tungkol sa kanilang relasyon sa social media.

Ito ay matapos mag-labas sina Andi Eigenmann at Philmar Alipayo ng cryptic posts tungkol sa kanilang relasyon sa Instagram kamakailan lang.

“In light of all of these relationship problems, not just what you mentioned but even the bigger issues mentioned last year, in light of those, we've actually realized, although when we signed up for this job, we fully understood na our personal lives would be scrutinized by the public,” saad ni Gil.

Pagpapatuloy pa ng aktor, “But if we can do out part to minimize some of that, we would and part of that is I guess selecting what we share to the public or what we post about. We've been a little more lowkey.”

Paglilinaw na Gil ay hindi naman sa itatago nila ang kanilang relasyon, pero mas pipiliin nilang maging maspribado, lalo na at “people like to air out dirty laundry.”

“They really like to air out dirty laundry on social media and really share all of their relationship problems. In light of that, we've decided to maybe take a little step back,” sabi ni Gil.

Saad pa ni Lexi, “If we don't have to share it, we won't share it.”

“But I guess that's better than actually them throwing rocks at us, knowing every step of our relationship,” sabi ni Lexi.
