Bukod sa pagiging butihing asawa, isa ring chief operating officer o COO si Kat Ramnani, ang misis ni Kapuso singer Christian Bautista, ng kanilang talent management agency na Now You Must Aspire o NYMA.

Sa pagbisita nila sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda nitong Martes, May 6, ibinahagi ni King of Talk Boy Abunda na nalaman niyang ginagamit ni Kat ang 'Fast Talk' sa pag-interview ng bagong talents.

Kuwento ni Kat, pangarap niyang sumalang sa 'Fast Talk' kaya bago pa niya makamit 'yun ay pina-practice na niya ito sa kanilang aspiring talents.

Paliwanag ni Kat, “When I interview a candidate who wants to join NYMA, I run Fast Talk with them. So ako si Tito Boy, and they play the guest, and then I ask them questions, and you've developed the fantastic methodology. You know why? It brings out what they're truly feeling, what they are not prepared for, and that's what I want to see.”

Kasama ni Kat sa pagpapatakbo ng kanilang talent agency si Christian, na tumatayo naman bilang president nito. Pag-amin ni Kat, “daunting” ang pagma-manage ng isang talent agency at paggawa ng mga desisyon para dito. Ngunit alam naman niyang parte lang din iyon ng business.

“But I think we're very particular in our strengths; Christian has been in the business for 20 years so he makes decisions based on that. I came from a very corporate background so we're able to find that balance and it's all about compromise,” sabi ni Kat.

Samantala, itinuturing naman ni Christian bilang isang partnership ang ginagawa nila ngayon ni Kat para sa NYMA. Aniya, nakakabilib ang kanyang asawa sa ginagawa nito.

“Ako ang bago dito, and I've just been really an artist for 20 plus years and my goal is talagang how to really share my experiences, good, bad, and how to motivate the artists to be the best that they can be,” sabi ni Christian.

Bilang talent, inilarawan ni Kat si Christian na “incredible.”

“You'll hear this from everybody, not just me, because I'm the wife and the manager, but everybody he's worked with. Christian is incredibly respected, he's always on time. His rule is, 'If you're not early, you're late.' He's very courteous, and he remembers everybody,” paglalarawan ni Kat sa kanyang asawa.

Dagdag pa ng NYMA COO, hiling niya na sana mas marami pang talents ang kagaya ni Christian. Napakaswerte din daw nila na kabilang ang Asia's Romantic Balladeer sa kanilang roster ng artists.
