Ken also caught Tito Boy up with what is happening with his character at the moment. Doc Lyndon has recently been discovered to be suffering from a morphine addiction by the character noted actress Dina Bonnevie plays on the show.
Galit siya sa sarili niya at sa mundo,” Ken said of his character.
The two of them acted out the scene on the Fast Talk with Boy Abunda set.
Ken Chan also had the opportunity to look back at some of the pivotal roles in his career, such as the opportunity to play Destiny Rose. According to Ken, he went through extraordinary lengths to snatch the role.
After nung isang araw, pinatawag ako para mag-audition,” he revealed.
Ken even went through a physical transformation even before bagging the role.
To get the look and sound of Destiny Rose, Ken shared that he tutored by Jonas Gaffud and director Phil Noble.
“Silang dalawa 'yung gumawa at nag-build kay Destiny Rose, mula physical hanggang kilos dahil kailangan magmukha siyang respetadong babae at hindi caricature,” he said.
Ken even gave Tito Boy a short lesson on how to talk and walk like a woman on the Fast Talk with Boy Abunda set.
Tito Boy also asked Ken Chan about his role on My Special Tatay. According to Ken, taking on the role of a father on the autism spectrum gave him a wider perspective on life.
Ken Chan was also asked about what he learned from his dual role as Nelson and Tyler, the two sides of a man with dissociative identity disorder.
