Joem Bascon and Bruce Roeland in Fast Talk With Boy Abunda

Joem Bascon wanted to prioritize his mental health, so he deactivated all his social media accounts. As of writing time, Joem has no official account in any social media platform.

During his interview in 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' the 'Asawa ng Asawa Ko' actor explained that he focused on his life with Meryll Soriano and their baby instead of browsing on social media.

He said, "I guess it's for my mental health din naman. Having a social media is like going to a battlefield, e. It's like driving sa EDSA na kailangan prepared ka sa lahat ng mangyayari."

"Siyempre, madaming mga comments, it really affects me as a person. I decided to turn it off, I had to delete it, and then I just focused on Meryll, I'm focused with my baby.

"It's a choice and I'm happy."

On the other hand, Bruce Roeland, who appeared on the show with Joem, said he couldn't live without social media right now.

"Ngayon, sa totoo lang hindi. Pero naiintindihan ko naman 'yung sinabi ni Joem, na it's a battlefield talaga," Bruce said. "You have to be [ready when] you have to be in social media. You have to protect yourself in social media, and it's always a competition, wheter you like it or not."

Here are the other things Joem and Bruce discussed with the program's host, Boy Abunda:
