Marian turned down the role because of the pandemic.

She said in an interview, "Sobrang sakit sa akin na ang First Yaya hindi ko nagawa kasi may lockdown sila sa taping, hindi makakauwi.

"Kaakibat nun, nanay ako, nagpapadede ako sa bunso kong anak.

"Mahihiwalay ako, hindi ko alam kung anong mangyayari sa akin sa labas, so nag-aalala talaga ako."

First Yaya is Sanya Lopez's first title role opposite veteran actor Gabby Concepcion. It follows the story of a Vice President (Gabby), who will later become the President of the Philippines, his first family, and Yaya Melody (Sanya), who serves as a nanny to his children.

On Instagram, the Sanya has posted some behind-the-scenes photos from their taping. It seems that the new love team has been sending “kilig” through their sweet and eye-catching photos as netizens hype up the undeniable chemistry between the pair.
