As the hosts of GMA News TV's makeover show Glow Up, Winwyn Marquez, Michelle Dee, and Thia Thomalla share their dream case studies once the quarantine is over.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, the Kapuso beauty queens agree that it's only right to pay tribute to the women who've served the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
Winwyn shares, “Ako, I want to suggest mga reserved or military women.
“Sila 'yung mga naging frontliners natin from the military, either navy or army, na nasa frontline natin ngayon to experience a glow up.
"Para ma-pamper siya and matanggal muna 'yung uniform niya for a while and just to experience something na siguro hindi pa niya na-experience in a long time. So, I think that would be a good case study.”
For Miss Eco International 2018 Thia Thomalla and Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee, it's all about pampering a COVID-19 survivor.
“Siguro I think we can also invite a COVID-19 survivor,” says Thia.
“If only they're willing for a pamper day. Bigyan lang natin ng day to relax and kausapin natin, how they are mentally, emotionally, together with their families. Ayun pamper day lang --- nail, hair color, para relaks lang.”
Michelle agrees, “I think to a certain extent that would be a great idea. Kasi people who are diagnosed with COVID, parang may certain stereotype na sila, na bawal ka nang lumapit sa kanila kahit wala ka nang virus.
“I think that idea of showing people that it's okay to interact with a survivor would make a really good impression.”
Catch these three ladies in 'Glow Up' every Sunday, 7:40 pm, on GNTV.
