'The Heirs' is coming to GTV this May

GTV is bringing a major throwback Korean drama for Kapuso as the hit 2013 series The Heirs is set to air this May 13.

The Heirs follows the story of Ian (Lee Min-ho) and his wealthy schoolmates who will find their way to take over their families' business empires. However, their road to wealth is not easy as they have to overcome problems in love, friends, and family.

Ian has to build courage and fight the power of Los Angeles, California after he was exiled by his half-brother, Wilson, to take over their family business, Jeguk Group.

Although his stay in Los Angeles is against his will, Ian's path will cross with Emma's (Park Shin-hye), who flew to the United States to find her sister. Their romance will follow them in Korea, but will eventually face an obstacle in the name of Rachel (Kim Ji-won) who turns out to be Ian's finacée.

On top of their problem with Rachel and their engagement, Ian and Emma will have to face their differences in social class and the nitpicking of Leo (Kim Woo-Bin), who will eventually develop feelings for Emma.

How will Ian and Emma battle such obstacles?

Will they let Rachel and Leo get in their way?

Most especially, will they ever let money and social class get in the way of their chance of love?
