He also admitted that success for him before meant the amount and grandeur of material things one possesses.

“Because of the pandemic, back to basics na. Ano ba 'yung importante sa 'yo? Importante 'yung relationship ko with my family,” he said.

Meanwhile, Benjamin is set to return to acting with the launch of the new week-long series “The Promise,” the second installment of drama anthology I Can See You. The series also stars Paolo Contis, Andrea Torres, Yasmien Kurdi, and Maey Bautista.

It follows the story of widowed multi-millionaire Frank Agoncillo (Paolo) who falls in love with an aspiring artist named Ivy Teodoro (Andrea), who is willing to go great lengths in order to lift her family out of poverty.

The Kapuso hunk will play the role of Frank Agoncillo's cousin and right-hand man, Jude Agoncillo in the series.

Directed by Zig Dulay, “The Promise” premieres Monday, October 5, on GMA Telebabad after Encantadia.
