Yasmien Kurdi says that she's confident of all the aspects of 'I Can See You: The Promise.'
Kapuso star Yasmien Kurdi is one proud cast member of I Can See You: The Promise.
During the Kapuso Brigade Zoomustahan on Monday, October 5, with the cast of the series, Yasmien told GMANetwork.com that “The Promise,” is Netflix worthy.
Her statement stemmed from the series' compelling storyline, cinematography, breathtaking set, execution and superb directing. Of course, the program also features some of the Kapuso A-list stars including Paolo Contis, Andrea Torres, and Benjamin Alves.
“How confident? Pang-Netflix! 'Yung color effect niya, makikita mo lahat ng eksena namin pang-Instagram.
“Then kung mapapanood mo 'yung bawat eksena, puwede mong picturan 'yung bawat eksena sa ganda ng kulay na mapapanood n'yo,” she said.
She then shared that the filming of the series took place in Cavinti, Laguna.
“Tsaka ang ganda rin kasi karamihan sa atin ngayon nasa bahay, hindi tayo nakakalabas dahil quarantine nga, itong I Can See You: The Promise, makikita nila 'yung ganda ng Pilipinas,” she said.
Andrea also agreed with Yasmien's claim. She shared that “The Promise” is one of the best projects she has worked on so far.
“Actually, nu'ng nabasa namin 'yung script, lahat kami natuwa sa istorya. Sa rami ng nagawa naming soap, kakaiba itong materyal na nabigay sa amin.
“Lalo pa kaming naging confident nung nakita na nga namin 'yung mga materyal kasi kami mismo nagulat, kami mismo na-amaze, natuwa,” she said.
The actress then said that each character in “The Promise” has their own unique and equally interesting back stories.
“Ang ganda-ganda talaga nu'ng pagkakagawa. So, I think malaki 'yung chance na ma-hook sila sa story, lalung-lalo na sa characters kasi bawat character may journey, may pinagdadaanan.
“Malalim talaga. Kumbaga kapag pinanood mo, hindi lang isa 'yung susundan mo. Ang dami, ang daming nangyayari kaya bawat episode siksik,” she added.
Directed by award-winning director Zig Dulay, “The Promise” airs from October 5 until October 9, on GMA Telebabad after Encantadia.
