Garrett Bolden tells inspiration in latest single 'Our Love'
Kapuso Soul Balladeer Garrett Bolden welcomed 2021 by releasing a new single titled "Our Love.”
In the latest episode of GMA Artist Center's online show, In The Limelight, Garrett shared his inspiration in the song, which he composed amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“'Our Love' is created in the most vulnerable time which is during the pandemic.
"This is the time that I did not know what to do with my career.
"I felt like my music and my career is on a stagnant phase.
"As I was writing the song, the passion in me, my creativity is alive again,” said The Clash alumnus.
Despite the circumstances, Garrett was able to write a beautiful song that he said many could relate to because of its meaning--giving importance to one's worth.
"My favorite line is 'One day you'll see me, my worth, my love, my heart.'
"Marami kasing makaka-relate sa line na 'to dahil I think sa lahat ng pinaghirapan natin may be it love, relationships, or anything.
"If we don't take it for granted parang people will see our worth,” he added.
The single was released on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other digital stores worldwide last January 11. It debuted at the top spot of iTunesPH chart during its release.
“Our Love” is Garrett's third single under GMA Music.
His previously released songs were “Lilipad Na” and “Handa Na Maghintay.”

Garett rose to fame after clinching a spot in the top 5 finalists of the first season of GMA's reality singing competition The Clash in 2018.
Since then, the singer has received several recognitions, including “People's Choice Award - Favorite New Male Artist” at the Awit Awards 2020, “Outstanding Achiever in the Music Industry” at the Philippine Top Choice for Excellence in 2020, and “New Male Recording Artist of the Year” at the 11th PMPC Star Awards for Music.
