Gwen Zamora's second home

For Gwen Zamora, being in the Innamorata set is much like being at home, especially because of her girlfriends Max Collins and Jackie Rice.

Before doing Innamorata, the three have already been working together in Bubble Gang, the longest running gag show in the country. Being around them, among others, makes her more excited to work and keep her from being burned out.

“Ang daming eksena [so] we finish in the morning but it’s fun because we’re a good group. Like sila Max and Jackie, we work together in Bubble Gang pero [because of Innamorata], closer na kami, and then kapag walang taping, we all go out together,” she shared.

Because of their closeness in the set and even outside it, Gwen hopes that she gets more projects with them in it.

“We’ve created such a good group, sana I [can] work with them more. Sana the next show that I have, I’m with them also,” she said.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Gwen shared what she thinks about the people she works with in the GMA Afternoon Prime show.

Max Collins

Gwen gets to talk to Max about the most mundane things and still make it fun. “Si Max, we talk about anything under the sun, like our routines and daily problems. We like to talk about food, too. That’s our weakness talaga, pagkain,” she said, chuckling.

Jackie Rice

The Filipino-Italian actress noted how she enjoys her heart-to-heart talks with co-star Jackie. “Ang sarap niyang kausap,” she revealed. “Magbibigay siya ng advice tapos magtatanong siya ng mga questions, like about your life, so you have that feeling na ‘oh wow, she’s listening to me.’”

Dion Ignacio

They don’t get to share that many scenes but according to Gwen, Dion doesn’t fail in complimenting her when he thinks she did well. “Ang bait ni Dion. Palagi niya akong kino-compliment sa character ko. Sinasabi niya, ‘Ang galing mo, Gwen.’ Palaging ‘galing, galing.’ He’s super chill. Super bait,” she said. Dion, who is also a musician, brings his passion to the set. “Rocker yan. 'Yung music niya, paminsan super rock and then minsan super mellow. He adds music on the set,” Gwen added.

Luis Alandy

Gwen could relate a lot with Luis because of the extremities of their personalities. “Si Luis, moody din 'yun kagaya ko. Paminsan super kulit. Paminsan tahimik,” she described. “As in there are times na manonood lang siya ng movies niya. Pero most of the time, makulit siya. Mahilig siya mangulit sa mga artista, sa mga crew. Lahat kinukulit niya.”

Direk Don Michael Perez

Aside from her co-stars, Gwen also described one of her favorite people from their group, their director. “Direk Mike is very attentive. Like when you talk to him, he’ll really look at you and really absorb what you’re telling him. Our conversations would just continuously flow. There’s no awkward silence. Ang sarap kausap nun,” Gwen declared.
