Isang makasaysayang pangyayari ang nasaksihan nitong June 28 dahil naganap ang grand contract signing event ng 'It's Showtime' at ng second free-to-air channel ng GMA, ang GTV.
Mapapanood na ang long-running noontime show ng ABS-CBN sa GTV simula ngayong Sabado, July 1.
Present sa contract signing event sina GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit Jr., and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong.
Dumalo rin dito ang mga top executives ng Kapamilya network na sina ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, Chairman Mark L. Lopez, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, and Officer-in-Charge of Finance Group Paul Piedad.
Isa-isa ring ipinakilala ang hosts ng 'It's Showtime' na sina Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, Ryan Bang, Ion Perez, MC, Lassy, Jackie Gonzaga, at Cianne Dominguez. Nagbigay din ang ilan sa kanila ng mensahe ng pasasalamat sa executives ng GMA at mga Kapuso.
