Get ready for the men of 'Kambal Sirena'

Your primetime viewing habits will never be the same as GMA Telebabad's latest offering, Kambal Sirena, premieres this Monday, March 10.

Kapuso actress Louise delos Reyes headlines the said sirena serye, playing twins Alona, a mermaid, and Perlas, a human being with gills.

Playing her leading man for the first time is certified hunk Aljur Abrenica.

More than the original storyline, the detailed set design, and the amazing special effects it promises, Kambal Sirena is also a smorgasbord of Kapuso actors who will make your weeknights far from ordinary.

Mike Tan, Polo Ravales, and Pancho Magno join Aljur in making sure that Kambal Sirena is worth watching.

Aljur Abrenica is back on primetime after just a couple of months since his last show, Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko, ended. He plays the role of Kevin, the vice president of a water theme park where Perlas works. He will eventually fall in love not only with her, but also with her twin Alona, after the latter saves him from drowning.

Kevin loves the family business so much that he trains the sea creatures and cleans their cages himself. Since you will frequently see him in the water, Aljur's abs will also be something to look forward to.

Completing the "love square" of the story is Mike Tan, who plays the role of Jun, a fisherman's son. His fascination with mermaids will make him fall in love with Alona and protect her true identity. In a recent interview, Mike admits that one of the challenges he is currently facing for his role is achieving a hotter body. Find out next week if his hard work at the gym paid off.

Unlike his other male co-stars, Polo Ravales will don a merman's tail for his role as Ataba, the queen's right-hand man. He also joined Louise delos Reyes and Rich Asuncion in their diving lessons with actor Jess Lapid, Jr. to conquer his fear of deep waters. With this kind of preparation, we're sure that Polo will make being a 'sireno' look sexy.

Completing the men of Kambal Sirena is Pancho Magno who will play the role of Homer, Kevin's cousin who will eventually betray him. If you didn't get enough of his muscular body and six-pack abs in his previous TV shows such as My Husband's Lover, then you will definitely get an additional dose in this primetime series.
