Enrico Cuenca shares his summer adventure with Ash Ortega
Enrico Cuenca is still in high spirits from his recent extreme summer adventure with Ash Ortega. The two visited Aqua Planet waterpark, the biggest and newest water park in the country and tried out its different slides.
Asked about the experience, Enrico recalled how surprised he and Ash were when they saw the waterpark’s fun yet daring rides.
“Akala namin ni Ash mga slides at salbabida lang," he tells GMANetwork.com. "So kami ni Ash, okay, chill, it’s gonna be fun pero hindi pala namin alam na when they say na water theme park, hindi sila nagbibiro, kasi it’s like a roller coaster.”
Enrico narrated their experience in detail, “Me and Ashley rode a slide na parang nasa loob ng isang malaking pipe or tube. Parang naglu-loop siya, so nagsa-slide ka tapos ang bilis mo tapos maglu-loop ka, hindi mo mafi-feel na naglu-loop ka pala sa sobrang bilis ng slide na 'yun and it’s like a free fall talaga.”
“Then 'yun yung floor biglang mawawala tapos you’ll drop tapos free fall talaga. Free slide, it was really scary.”
Enrico said that once he and Ash were over the initial shock, they were game to try the rides again. ”Pero after that kami ni Ash we were like, tara isa pa. Ang saya. That was the cool part marami pang iba, may mga rides rin na parang you’re riding a salbabida pero you’re going really fast na parang up and down ka.”
With a smile, he added, “Intense talaga pero masaya. Akala naming parang slides lang 'yun pala parang roller coaster, pero masaya very refreshing."
He also gave a tip for people looking for a summer adventure near the metro. “If you’re looking for a more intense ride, I recommend Aqua Planet. Hindi ko rin in-expect na may ganung klase ng water park na ganung klase 'yung mga rides, very cool.”
