Recipe: Baby Back Ribs Barbecue


INGREDIENTS:

2 slabs baby back ribs
½ cup brown sugar
4 cloves garlic
1 white onion, sliced
1 thumb-sized ginger, grated 
¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup pineapple juice
½ cup pork stock
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup light soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 sticks cinnamon bark
4 pcs star anise
salt
pepper
5 large potatoes, baked
butter
sour cream
chives

 
PROCEDURE:
1. Put all ingredients in a pot, then simmer until baby back ribs are fork tender.
 
2. Pre-heat the griller, then place baby back ribs for five minutes on each side.
 
3. Reduce simmering mixture until slightly thickened then strain.  Serve with baked potatoes.
