Recipe: Crispy Tawilis Salad with Lemonade Dressing

INGREDIENTS:
500 grams tawilis
1 cup potato starch
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
500 grams assorted lettuce
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoon sugar
50 grams cucumber
2 ripe tomatoes
1/2 cup olive oil
5 grams garlic puree
oil for deep frying

 
PROCEDURE:
1. Season with salt and pepper the tawilis. Deep-fry until crispy and set aside.
 
2. Place lettuce on salad bowl. Add crispy tawilis.

3. Garnish on top with cucumber, tomatoes and served with lemonade dressing.
 
Lemonade dressing prep: Combine lemon juice, sugar, olive oil, and season to taste.
