Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, thankful for mini-series 'Love You, Stranger'

Kapuso couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos will be starring in a new mini-series titled Love You, Stranger, GMA network announced yesterday, October 29.

Just like their fans, the real-life sweethearts were surprised over the news when they learned about it.

In Nelson Canlas's report for 24 Oras, the couple went to the GMA Network Center to undergo swab testing for the taping of Gabbi's new millennial magazine show, In Real Life, where Khalil will be a guest. But they were in for a big surprise.

“'Yung kaninang ini-set up nila after the swab, magsi-spiels kami. BTS daw. We went to GMA for swabbing talaga kaya wala akong ayos, naka-cheek tint lang ako,” the actress shared.

“Nagtaka na ako nun. Bakit red envelope 'yung spiel, e, 'di ba usually sasabihin lang naman kung ano 'yung spiel tapos gagawin namin.

“Medyo nagtaka na ako. Tapos pagbukas may parang poster sa loob. As in 'yung reaction talaga namin ni Khalil was so raw.

“Kasi we had no idea talaga,” she added.

Now that Khalil is officially a part of the Kapuso family and will be working in his first project under the network, Gabbi is grateful for the opportunities given to them.

“I'm super happy that Khalil is now with us in GMA and I'm more than happy to be announcing na magkasama kami sa first show ni Khalil.

“Super thankful and super grateful talaga,” she added.
