After being in a tumultuous relationship, Monique (Barbie Forteza) and Carding (David Licauco) made it official by exchanging 'I dos' in the final episode of 'Maging Sino Ka Man.'
After so many trials that challenged their relationship, Carding (David Licauco) and Monique (Barbie Forteza) got their happily after in the final episode of Maging Sino Ka Man.
Aired on Friday, November 3, the episode showed Monique and Belinda (Jean Garcia) being captured by Gilbert (Juancho Triviño). Meanwhile, Frank (ER Ejercito) hostaged the kids. Gilbert demanded Belinda to transfer all her assets to him.
Carding saved the kids but Rose (Marnie Lapus) cornered Belinda. She attempted to get Belinda, but Betty (Faith Da Silva) helped her. Rose died in the process while they continued to escape.
Carding fought Frank and his goons. Monique arrived to help Carding. They fought Frank until he fell into a boiling acid vat, but Carding was left hanging. Monique held onto him and tried to save him but Gilbert attacked them. Monique kept holding onto Carding until Gilbert hit her on her face, making her eyes suffer. But Belinda came and saved them from Gilbert.
Gilbert shot Belinda. Carding and Gilbert engaged in a final battle. Carding got a chance to kill Gilbert but Monique stopped him. Officer Ben (Paolo Paraiso) captured Gilbert instead. Eventually, Belinda died.
Gilbert suffered in prison.
Monique is broken and blind after her mother dies. Carding continues to support and love her. They also make a foundation to help the less fortunate. Eventually, Monique got a donor.
Monique and Carding married and they live happily ever after.
Directed by Enzo Willlians, Maging Sino Ka Man is a special limited series based on the 1991 film of the same title, originally played by Megastar Sharon Cuneta and action star-turned-politician Robin Padilla.
Beginning Monday, November 6, Maging Sino Ka Man will be replaced by Black Rider in the GMA primetime block.
The Ruru Madrid-led full action series airs weeknights, 8:00 p.m. on GMA Telebabad, with simulcast airing on Pinoy Hits and livestreaming via Kapuso Stream, and delayed telecast on GTV at 9:40 p.m.
