Jon Gutierrez talks about wife Jelai Andres on 'Mars Pa More'

In the Mars Pa More episode aired on Tuesday, April 13, Jon Gutierrez, also known as King Badger of Ex Battalion, talked about his wife, Jelai Andres.

In the said episode Jon was asked by hosts Iya Villania and Camille Prats about who is in control of their relationship or marriage.

Initially, Jon said they both have a say in the relationship, especially when it comes to vlogging.

“Sa amin, we are both in control, e. And we are both decision makers,” Jon said. "All our works, especially the vlogs, I have to ask her if 'Tama ba 'tong gagawin natin?' Siya rin naman, kung 'Tama ba 'yung nabitawan mong words?' and 'Tama ba 'yung pag-eexplain ko [rito]?'

“And 'yun nga, sa final editing, dalawa rin kaming nagde-desisyon kung 'Is this a final cut? Are we posting this na or hindi, kasi hindi pa siya perfect?' So, in terms of power, I would say we both have power in our relationship and nobody is in full control.”

But later on, Jon kind of changed his tone and admitted that Jelai is the decision maker in their marriage.

He hesitantly revealed, “Sa marriage naman, I would say…she's the decision maker. (laughs)”

Jon admitted that as a man it is “hard to take” that it is actually the woman or wife who mostly takes the reins of the relationship.

“A man would likely say na sila 'yung in control and decision maker. But my wife makes the best decisions and I always make the bad ones. (laughs) So, I would give her the rights na, yes, she has the power.”

It is unclear when the said episode was taped, but it seems like it was shot before Jelai Andres accused Jon of cheating on her anew.
