RECIPE: Refreshing mocktails a la Chef Jose Sarasola

By Racquel Quieta

Ever since the pandemic began, we all have been forced to evaluate and prioritize our health. Along with making sure we get proper nutrition and sleep, it's important to ditch our vices that might be harmful to our health such as drinking too much alcohol.

If you're one of those who have said goodbye to alcohol for good, congratulations! But if you haven't yet, don't fret, because it's never too late to make a healthy change.

If you want to lessen or completely stop drinking alcohol, perhaps drinking mocktails as an alternative is the best first step for you.

As its name suggests, mocktails are only “mock cocktails.” They may look the same as cocktails, but they have no alcohol in them.

In a recent 'Mars Pa More' episode, Kapuso celebrity chef, Jose Sarasola, prepared five different mocktails that you can easily recreate at home.

“The good thing about the mocktail is it's made of juices, fruits, and honey and lime. So, mga very light ingredients lang,” said Chef Jose.

So, without further ado, below are the recipes for Chef Jose Sarasola's quick and easy refreshing mocktails.
