Whip up an easy, quick, and healthier version of the traditional waffles in no time at all.

Looking for a quick and easy breakfast or merienda to prepare that's healthy and filling at the same time? Look no further than the cheese waffles or simply chaffles.

In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, To Have and to Hold star Max Collins shared a healthy and no-sweat chaffles recipe that's perfect for people on a diet.

The recipe is low on carbs compared to the traditional waffles as it uses only two ingredients: eggs and cheese.

Eggs are a great source of Vitamin A, B12, and choline, while cheese is rich in healthy fat and protein.

To make this easy chaffles recipe at home, all you need is a mini-waffle maker that you can buy online in shopping platforms. According to Max, they're only worth around PhP 300, so they're very affordable.

So, without further ado, here's Max Collins's 2-ingredient chaffles recipe.

2-ingredient Chaffles a la Max Collins

Ingredients:

cheese

eggs

Procedure:

1. Combine equal parts of cheese and eggs; 1 egg is good for 2 pieces of chaffles.

2. Mix well.

3. Pour the mixture into the mini-waffle maker and let it cook until you achieve desired toastiness.

Max said you could also use other kinds of cheese or more than one kind of cheese. Plus, you can also add bacon bits or tune, if you want.

If you want to see exactly how it's made, you can watch Max Collins cook her 2-ingredient chaffles in the Mars Pa More video above.
