Quick and healthy sandwich and noodle recipes

Need new ideas for healthy snacks to serve your loved ones? Mars Camille Prats and Iya Villania got you covered with quick and healthy recipes they recently shared on Mars Pa More's Mas Masarap segment.

Most of the time, many of us tend to go for quick and easy recipes even though some of them might not exactly be healthy. With our fast-paced lives, sadly we often have to choose convenience over quality and healthy food.

But in a recent episode of Mars Pa More, hosts Camille and Iya shared a couple of healthy dishes that are also easy to prepare: Kani Salad Sandwich and the Cheesy Noodle Dish.

So, if you want to try these at home below are the recipe for Iya Villania's Kani Salad Sandwich and Camille Prat's Cheesy Noodle.

Iya Villania's Kani Salad Sandwich

Ingredients:

Cucumber
Cabbage
Carrots
Kani (crab sticks)
Thousand island dressing
Lettuce
Burger buns

Procedure:

1. Put the shredded cucumber, cabbage, carrots, and the kani in a bowl.
2. Add the thousand island dressing.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Mix well.
5. Put some thousand island dressing inside the sliced burger buns.
6. Then stuff some of the salad in the burger buns.

Camille Prat's Cheesy Noodle

Ingredients:

Onions
Green bell pepper
Carrots
Sausage
Instant noodles
Instant noodles powder seasoning

Procedure:

1. Sauté the onions, bell peppers, and carrots.
2. Add the cheddar cheese powder and give it a good mix.
3. Add the cabbage.
4. Add the sausage.
5. Add the powder seasoning from the instant noodles.
