No need to spend much with these easy, clever, and affordable DIY Christmas decors.

One of the tell-tale signs that the Christmas season is finally here is when department stores already have various Christmas decors on display. And there's just something magical about seeing the sea of green, red, and gold decors and the dancing Christmas lights. It instantly uplifts one's spirit without a doubt.

While it's tempting to shop for new Christmas decors at the mall; sometimes it's not that practical, especially if you have a tight budget at the moment.

So, how can you keep the Christmas spirit alive at home without spending much on new decors?

Well, your best bet is to do some DIY Christmas decors that won't hurt your pocket.

And if you say you're not good at arts and crafts, don't worry because Mars Iya Villania and Camille Prats got you covered.

In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, Mars Iya and Camille, as well as celebrity guests Vaness del Moral and Yasmien Kurdi, demonstrated how to make a couple of easy and clever DIY Christmas decors. Check them out below.

Christmas Hat

Materials:

Instructions:

1. Fold the paper plate in half.
2. On the outer edge, write some lyrics of Christmas jingles or messages.
3. Fold the two ends of the already folded paper plate toward the center to form triangles.
4. Fold it again in half.
5. Cut through the lines formed from the tip, but make sure to leave some space around the edges or rim.
6. Decorate with materials that you or your kid fancy, for example, stickers or photos of their favorite cartoon character.
7. Glue the pom-poms on the tips of the triangles and the rim of the paper plate.

Christmas in a Cup

Materials:

Instructions:

1. Simply glue the ribbons into the middle part of the glass, just right where the hand rest and the stem meet.
2. Cut a small part of the recycled Christmas garland and glue it onto the ribbons.
3. Fill the cups with treats or white Styrofoam beads and small parts of an old Christmas garland.

The sky's the limit on how you want to decorate your Christmas hat and cup. You can also use the Christmas in a Cup décor as a centerpiece to beautify your Noche Buena table setting.
