Glaiza de Castro gives sneak peek of their bed and breakfast in Baler

While most of us are confined in our homes in the suburbs or in concrete jungles filled with condominiums, Kapuso star Glaiza de Castro is spending the quarantine in the beautiful paradise of Baler.

In her virtual guest appearance in Mars Pa More, Glaiza gave a quick tour of their bed and breakfast in Baler.

For those who don't know yet, Galura is the real surname of Glaiza. Hence, they named their bed and breakfast Casa Galura.

According to Glaiza, they found the property in Baler two years ago and they decided to acquire it and turn it into a bed and breakfast.

Glaiza also revealed that some of the rooms in Casa Galura were built in what used to be a garage.

They also have a humble-sized pool, perfect for when you want to take a dip and just relax while you take a sip of a refreshing drink.

They also have a workout area in their bed breakfast, which Glaiza hopes to develop more during the quarantine period.

And, speaking of quarantine, Glaiza seem to have enjoyed the quarantine in Baler more because she was with her parents and her Irish boyfriend David Rainey for most of the four months.

Glaiza said that the time she spent with David during quarantine was the longest period that they spent together in one place, as he is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Furthermore, they were able to get to know members of their community in Baler well during quarantine.

They have also developed a good relationship with their neighbors, who even send them fruits and vegetables harvested from their gardens.

Glaiza also divulged that David was the designated quarantine “tribute” in their household, and that he liked going on grocery runs in Baler and buying different foods from the locals.
