Among those who have made dried flowers arrangement as their new hobby is Kapuso star and global endorser Gabbi Garcia.

In her recent guesting on Mars Pa More, Gabbi said it was during their family's Fukuoka, Japan trip last February that she discovered her love for dried flowers.

She then shared the basics of dried flowers arrangement with Mars Iya and Camille.

According to Gabbi, if you want to dry a bouquet of lavenders and roses, you need to hang it upside down for two to three weeks.

“Kaya siya upside down para hindi mag-die down yung stem, para hindi ma-sideways, para straight pa din siya pati yung petals niya. And also, the pigment, the color stays.

“Tapos kapag okay na, you have to trim the excess leaves sa stem para hindi siya tuluyang masira.

“And then after that, you have to spray it with unscented hairspray. And then, ayon na.”

Gabbi also advised that in order to preserve the quality of your dried flowers, avoid putting them under direct sunlight and in windy areas.
