Tuna Fried Rice ala Mavy Legaspi

Tuna fried rice is the perfect food for busy bees to cook as it already has rice and viand in one dish, two of the non-negotiables in a Filipino meal.

In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, Kapuso celebrity Mavy Legaspi showed just how easy it is to prepare this two-in-one dish.

For cooking newbies, who are not familiar with its ingredients yet, here are the things you'll need:

  • canned tuna
  • rice
  • garlic
  • onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • egg
  • sesame oil

Here are the six easy steps to cooking Tuna Fried Rice:

1. Sauté garlic and onion.
2. Add the canned tuna.
3. Add rice.
4. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Add the egg and keep mixing until cooked.
6. Add sesame oil.
