Find out how Nicole Hyala manages her online business and be inspired to start your own.

Disc jockey, events hosts, and digital influencer Nicole Hyala joins the bandwagon of celebrities who have ventured into online selling during the quarantine period.

In her recent guesting in Mars Pa More, Nicole proudly showed the three products she sells online: rice, vinegar, and hands-free alcohol dispensers.

At the moment, Nicole only sells rice to their neighbors.

According to her, in order to maximize their trip, she makes sure they have at least three orders of 25 kgs. of rice, and brings extra sacks, just in case someone else wants to buy some on the spot.

Aside from rice, Nicole also sells bottles of vinegar online, which she says is a hit since Filipinos naturally love condiments.

And the third product she sells online is the hands-free alcohol dispenser, which is very much in-demand now, since it's safer to sanitize hands in public if you don't need to touch the alcohol bottle itself.

In her interview with Mars Iya Villania and Camille Prats, Nicole revealed that she never thought she'd venture into online selling but was forced to do so because of the economic consequences of the pandemic.

“Hindi ko talaga inisip na gagawin ko ever. Kasi, hindi man masyadong halata pero mahiyain ako eh. Well, in terms of pagbebenta.

“But then the pandemic [came], parang na-realize ko, 'Oh my God. Nababaliw na ko.' kapag wala akong ginawa.

“Paano na lang yung mga bagets? Meron akong one-year-old, may seven-year-old ako. E, siyempre, ang mga raket natin as entertainers, medyo na-slash din. So, you have to do something.”

“Tatanggalin mo lang talaga yung hiya. Maging walang hiya. (laughs)”

Nicole encouraged everyone to try and never hesitate about doing online business during the quarantine period.

“Naku, ngayong panahon ng pandemic, this is not the time para maghiya-hiya.

"It's important na maging masipag. Kailangan gagawin ang best para sa pamilya para hindi nganga. (Laughs)

“And always remember that the beginning is always the hardest. Sa una lang naman mahirap.

"Keri boom boom ng powers natin ito. Huwag kang mag-give up. Isa 'yan sa aking bonggacious na tip.”
