Are old clothes and old household items sitting in your closet or garage unused and full of dust? Then it's definitely time for some decluttering!

In a recent 'Mars Pa More' episode, actress and '80s hitmaker Lilet Jodloman-Esteban explained the importance of decluttering.
“Kailangan nating mag-declutter. Hindi pwede 'yung accumulate tayo nang accumulate ng mga gamit. Darating yung point na wala na tayong gagalawan.”
She also shared some tips on how to make decluttering easier, especially for those who own a lot of stuff and have the tendency to keep things in their possession even if they're not being used for a long time.
For personal clothes, Lilet has a 90-day rule, wherein if she doesn't use a certain clothing item in a span of 90 days, she'll then assess whether she'll be wearing it in the next 90 days or not.
If not, then she'll let go of it by giving it to another person who she knows will definitely wear it.

Celebrities usually own a lot of clothes, since they use them for tapings and guest appearances.
So to avoid accumulating too much of them, Lilet makes it a point to sort out her taping clothes to see which ones she can keep and which ones she'll give away.
Lilet either keeps some of her taping clothes and includes them in her personal wardrobe or donates them to those who need them more.
And when it comes to old housewares that Lilet has a hard time letting go of, she gives them only to her closest and dearest. That way, she can still see those items when she goes to their house for a visit.
