Drew Arellano on hidden meanings: “Delikado 'yung mga 'No comment. No comment.' ng mga babae na 'yan.”

Communication is an important part of relationships, but sometimes it can also be the root of problems, especially when one or both persons are not being direct with what they actually mean.

In an episode of 'Mars Pa More,' celebrity guests Adrian Alandy and Sid Lucero, as well as hosts Camille Prats and Iya Villania revealed some truth bombs about hidden messages that our spouses usually communicate with us indirectly.

Anyone who's in a relationship will surely relate to these revelations, so read on and discover the truth behind what our partners usually say.

What our partners say: “Okay na 'yang suot mo. Maganda ka na.”

What they really mean: “Bilisan mo mag-ayos.”

Let's go.'

He added, “Minsan 'di ba may lakad kayo na importante na kailangan puntahan at hindi pa siya makapag-decide kung ano isusuot or kung ano'ng itsura niya, so 'yon, dun mismo nagtatagal.

“Pero I think depende rin 'yon kung paano 'yung pagkakasabi mo, 'yung manner mo of how you say it.”

What our partners say: “Okay lang. Do Whatever you want. Don't worry. It's Okay.”

What they really mean: “Subukan mo lang! Sige!”

Iya revealed, “…what she really means is stay with her the whole day while she does whatever she wants to do. Or else, hindi ka niya kakausapin ng isang linggo until suyuin mo siya ulit.”

Iya's husband, Drew Arellano, also made a funny cameo and gave his two cents on the issue.

He said, “Delikado 'yung mga 'No comment. No comment.' ng mga babae na 'yan. Just stay with her. Mahirap na."

Drew also joked, “Sumunod ka na lang. Isang araw lang naman. Actually, buong buhay mo lang naman, gagawin mo 'yon.”

What our partners say: “Babe, can we just talk about this later?”

What they really mean: Sometimes they mean it, but sometimes it could mean they're hiding something

Actor Sid Lucero said, “Usually it means simply that, that they can't talk about it at that moment. Some other time, may tinatago.”

He said most of the time when our partners say this it could just mean it's not the ideal time for them to talk about it.

But he warns there's a possibility that your partner is not being honest with you.

Sid further explained. “I also have experienced, especially in my younger years, when I get caught and cornered at hindi ko na alam 'yung gagawin ko, sasabihin ko, lalo na kung hindi ko naman sinasadya 'yung nangyari, I really get flustered and I don't know what to say.

“But I was younger. Nowadays, like (what) Iya said, it's better to be forward.”

He also emphasized, “Pero to the ladies, hindi laging ganun 'yun ha! Kailangan n'yo pa rin i-reserve 'yung 10% na pwede kayong binobola nito.”

What our partners say: “Love, parang ang pangit ko ngayon noh? I don't feel pretty.”
