Janice Hung stuns netizens with her wushu skills in 'Mga Lihim ni Urduja'
Actress and model Janice Hung took to Instagram to share an exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of her Wushu Staff routine in the mythical primetime mega series Mga Lihim ni Urduja.
In her post, Janice mentioned what it takes to learn the traditional Chinese martial arts.
“The staff is such a versatile weapon, and I've been training my movements and bring them to life on screen. I'm a big believer in the power of discipline, hard work, and dedication, and this routine really put those values to the test. It required a lot of patience, and perseverance. But that's the thing about Wushu - it teaches you to push yourself to your limits and beyond. And I'm so grateful for that,” she said.
The international martial arts champion also expressed how honored she is to be part of the action-adventure series and thanked her fans for supporting her in her journey as Bulan and Madam Astra in Mga Lihim ni Urduja.
“It's a privilege to be able to showcase my passion for martial arts in this amazing project, and I hope my dedication and hard work inspire you to pursue your own passions, no matter how difficult they may seem. Janice Hung is also dubbed as the country's “Wushu Queen.” She's a 10-time Gold Medalist in Wushu and represented the Philippines in different major international tournaments including the SEA games, Asian Games and World Championships.
